I found a picture of a Porsche 917K with a Martini livery. Nothing new right? Well, it was some weird-ass psychedelic stuff. Here:

The only reason I thought it was weird is because it was not the traditional White with red and blue stripes.

So what do you think is the weirdest race livery oppo?

Personally, my vote goes to the BMW E30 Tic Tac cars form DTM.

The Porsche Livery isn't just Psychedelic, its referred to as the Hippie 917. One of the most loved 917's of all time.

Just the ones that came to mine when I thought about weird liveries. I was painting cars for iRacing, so I've been down this road before.

The 3.0 CSL Grid Car. I did a livery of this in a newer BMW M3 Cup mod a few years back for a race sim (GTR & GTR2). I couldn't see straight after doing all the intricate lines...

The strange Porsche liveries like the Hippie cars were done last minute most of the time, the factory was actually not happy about some of them. They were hand painted at the circuit mostly.

Pshh, I hope you mean weird in a good way about that 917. That is one of the coolest paint schemes that car has ever had! Granted that is my opinion, but still.

Side note: Only the short tail 917's were 917Ks because the K stands for kurz, which in english means short(as in short tail). Just lookin out for ya! ;D
